Only an accredited calibration laboratory can issue DAkkS calibration certificates. This defines not only the measuring method, but also gives Information on tracing the test means to a national Standard and the relevant measuring uncertainty is given.
KERN has a highly-automated DKD laboratory with accreditation to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 in the field of balances, test weights and force measurement. This laboratory was accredited by DKD in 1994 and today it is one of the most modern and best-equipped DAkkS calibration laboratories for balances, test weights and force measurement in Europe. By using the most modern calibration technology with high-end calibration robots in fully air-conditioned laboratories, the measurement uncertainty and process times are reduced to a minimum, and also the quality of the calibration is increased.
