During this calibration the manufacturer or customer tolerances are checked and readjusted if desired. The conformity of the tolerances is confirmed in the calibration certificate.
The refractive index standard is traceable to SRM (standard of reference material) of NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) and PTB (Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt).
