News about the KERN calibration laboratory
With our new calibration facility in Bühl, we are expanding our service portfolio for heavy loads: We can now provide DAkkS-accredited calibration of crane scales with maximum capacities of up to 50 t.
In close cooperation with EHP Wägetechnik, we offer you a comprehensive solution for your crane scale: KERN & SOHN performs the accredited calibration, while EHP Wägetechnik takes care of maintenance. This means you benefit from metrological expertise and practical service from a single source.

We have significantly expanded our scope of accreditation: with immediate effect, the KERN Calibration Laboratory offers DAkkS-accredited calibrations of force measuring devices up to a maximum load of 240 kN. Previously, the accredited range was limited to 5 kN.
This means that you can now also receive accredited, traceable calibration certificates with the accreditation symbol for higher force ranges – precise, reliable and with short turnaround times.
To support the market launch, we are offering you a special advantage: during the introductory phase, you will receive our high-quality DAkkS calibrations up to 240 kN at the price of a factory calibration.
